Portland Elopement Styling & Photography For Couples Who Want Intimacy + Bold Design

If you’ve got taste, a half-formed vision, and absolutely zero desire to spend your nights making 400 micro-decisions alone… hi. You’re exactly who I built this for.

Most couples don’t need more inspiration. You need someone to take the vibe you’re trying to create, make it cohesive, and bring it to life in the real world. That’s the difference between an elopement that looks fine and one that feels like a fully designed visual story without you carrying the whole thing on your back.

I’m Cat—photographer, stylist, and creative director. I’ve been doing this for 15+ years, and I’m obsessed with the details in a way that is deeply helpful for you.

I don’t just show up and document what happens. I build a visual plan, shape the design, and then photograph the day with an editorial eye so your elopement doesn’t feel random, rushed, or like it’s missing something.

What You’re Hiring Me For

Yes, you’re paying for styling and photo coverage. But the real value is what happens before I ever click the shutter.

You’re hiring me for:

  • my creative brain translating your vibe into a real design plan

  • hours of sourcing, building, coordinating, and problem-solving

  • the kind of visual cohesion that makes your gallery feel like one complete story (not a bunch of unrelated moments)

This is styling + photography that actually work together because I’m designing with the final images in mind from the start. Because your elopement is small, every choice shows. Which is great… until you realize you’re the one making all the choices.

This means you get to stop guessing. You’ll have a plan, a look, and a timeline that supports both the experience and the photos. And yes: 5% of your session fee gets donated to a charity from my list so your day does a little good in the world too.

Do you want an elopement that feels intimate and looks intentionally designed, all without you spending months figuring it out alone?

You inquire with your date, location, and guest count (must be under 10).

STEP3

I’ll reply with next steps + a consult link.

STEP4

STEP1

STEP2

Once you’re booked, I send the questionnaire and we start building the design direction.

Mood boards → design deck → vendor sourcing → final plan.

STEP5

Day-of: I coordinate the styling setup around our photo timeline and document the whole thing.

“Wait, are you basically a wedding planner?”

Nope. I’m your stylist + photographer + creative director. I’ll handle design, sourcing, styling logistics, and day-of setup/strike around photography, but I’m not a full-service wedding planner managing every vendor and every guest experience from start to finish. (If you need that level of logistics management, I’ll tell you and I’ll help you find the right person.)

The Nitty Gritty

  • This pricing is for days with fewer than 10 people present. If your guest count is higher, you’re in micro-wedding territory and I’ll point you to the right option.

  • Yes. Travel within 50 miles of Portland is included. For anywhere beyond that, I’ll send a simple travel quote.

  • A lot. Mood boards, a design deck, vendor sourcing and communication, rentals and order placement, site research, outfit help, and day-of setup/strike. This is not “here are a few ideas.” This is me helping build the visual plan and making it real.

  • Absolutely. You won’t be left wondering what to do. I’ll direct you in a way that feels natural and doesn’t turn your day into a series of commands for the camera.

  • You’ll receive a full gallery within 8-10 weeks of high-resolution images (typically 50–75 edits per hour of coverage).

  • Custom payment plans are always an option, but a 25% retainer books your date. The remainder is due 30 days before the wedding!

If you want intimacy with bold design and someone who’s genuinely obsessed with making the vision come to life, I’m your person.
