Maddie + Kenny // Lakeside Garden Wedding

While a lot of my work gives off a punk rock princess kind of vibe, my other side is soft woodland fairy and Maddie gives off all of those magical foresty feelings. Her and Kenny are the perfect lovers, dappled in sunlight amongst the trees and soft moss. We brought this vibe into her wedding with the guest tablescapes and hand crafted arch for her ceremony. The venue itself is home to a (slightly fiesty) swan named Toast, and we had little swan themed touches throughout the day, including a crystal swan bell. All of the tables were accented will bells (the couple’s future last name) for guests to ring a kiss from the newlyweds. There were even some scattered through the ceremony altar. I really loved that not only was this an intimate guest list, but they involved their friends and family in the ceremony with a ring warming, vow to the couple, and two guests found brass ducks under their chairs that marked them the chosen officiants to sign the certificate. The day finished with an intimate reception dinner, chatting with their friends and family before hitting the dancefloor to end the night and one final escape from Toast.
