Jeri+Brady // Bridgerton Meets Woodstock in Ohio

The blog title may seem a little funny but even that is so fitting if you know anything about the lovely bride from this wedding, Jeri from Ladies and Tangents. I happen to know this talented babe from her photography days, and had the pleasure of not only creating a design plan for her reception and some custom pieces, but also attending as a guest with David (a very rare occasion!).

Just a few weeks before Jeri’s wedding we were chatting and she mentioned she didn’t exactly have a plan for her reception. I couldn’t help but kick into gear pulling together the beautiful details she already had together. Her vendor team was already Amazing, and she had trusted each of them to pull off their best work with the loose vision she gave them. My only note to the florist was to give the bridesmaids monochrome bouquets, which really played perfectly with the colors Jeri had selected for the rest of the reception. I created a custom sign after searching and finally finding the perfect shade of blue lace that hung from the fireplace as a backdrop for their vows and dinner. The fans were my other favorite detail and wound up being great for the sun and the dance floor. For the seating chart, I cut stickers that I flew out and applied to vintage plates from Brady’s aunt’s wedding. The bar drink signs were also flown with me after finding the perfect wavy edge frames that matched the hand written place cards. Each table had a monochrome vibe and then a mix of the color palette with candle and florals. While I loved all the details of the day, obviously the best part of the day was getting to see my friend marry truly the love of her life. The day was nothing but joy and captured so beautifully by my other photog friends, Jess Cart Photography and second shooter Madison- you two are truly incredible!
