Spring Into Color // Styled Bridal // Tacoma
Carley came and asked me to create her two shoots; one all white, and one with lots of color. And oh boy did I deliver on color. The original style board was centered around bold backdrops and patterned tablecloths. I started searching and came across Lola Valentina, who has an Incredible selection of unique linens in all kinds of patterns, colors, and accessories to go with. I started sourcing brass accents, including the large ornate peacock I’ve had since I found him an an estate sale in college. The colors and blue china helped inspire the invitation suite designed by my forever favorite, Janae Lyn Studio. Add in vintage porcelain earrings from In September, along with a stunning blue veil she created and the details really started to come together. Jess of Atelier in Tacoma has created a beautiful and intimate space, that just so happened to also be in the same building Evergreen Bridal who lent us the stunning gown. Melanie Faun also works at Atelier during The Taacoma Flea market, and I was delighted when she agreed to bring us her talents and step back into the wedding world for a moment. She and Jenae of Cake and Crumble really brought everything together to life with the florals and incredible long cake! We ended the night adventuring around the corner to Alley in Tacoma, and you should’ve seen our reaction when that light turned on to highlight our bridal model (who KILLED it despite the cold by the way!)
