When Merritt and Brady’s family heard they were hosting their wedding in their friends backyard, they truly had no idea what they were in for. These two transformed their friends space into a whimsical, twinkling garden wedding of their dreams. I was lucky to meet them early on in their planning process and dove into the design with Merritt right way. She had a great idea of the vibe she wanted, and I just helped fill in some of the design gaps and turn that vibe into a real vision. We worked with our mutual friend Janae Lyn Studio to create an incredible mix of paper goods and mirrored signs for the wedding. I worked on her arch the morning of, while homeowner and friend Katherine put together all of the incredible florals. Our favorite Meghan Ceallaigh was on site for makeup, and the whole day came together beautifully. It was a beautiful and intimate evening, Merritt was an absolute Vision in her dress, sparkling all night like the disco ball decor. Brady was looking sharp in his green suit and even their sweet dog Rudy had a wedding suite to match. The night ended with a classic round of beer pong, a nod to when the two met in college.
