Daria + Dylan // Married // Camp Adirondak
Daria and Dylan brought their family and friends together for an entire weekend of camp wedding fun. The two were technically married art New York City Hall that spring, but this was a second ceremony to truly celebrate with their family and friends. The guests settled into their accommodations for the weekend, some diving into the camp activities like swimming immediately, including the bride. Everyone then gathered for the crawfish boil, one of the groom’s favorite. The wedding morning began with a bagel breakfast spread and more camp fun. The bride set her hair and then took a quick, thankfully not too windy boat ride with her groom around the lake before heading back to finish getting ready for the ceremony. They dressed in separate cabins and everyone headed down to the lake front. Dylan and his mom walked the wooded aisle together, followed by Daria and both of her parents. Daria pinned Dylans boutonniere before their friend Claire led their ceremony. They each recited personal vows before exchanging their kiss in the sparkling sun. The two soaked in the moment under the fall canopy while their friends and family headed back to the main lodge. Family photos turned into friend photos which became a beautiful sort of ‘receiving line’ allowing them to capture the love with each of their guests for a moment. Another quick pause with just the two of them as the sun dropped below the horizon, and even the boaters on the lake gave them a shout out. Returning to the reception, the cabin had become a candelit dream with all of their friends and family gathered and giggling. The rest of the night is a blur of dancing, bonfires, polaroids, and of course a cake slice with the couple’s faces.
My name is Cat and I take photos. I swear, a lot.
